To mark the annual celebration of New Year for the year 2021, a grand “Virtual New Year Celebration” event was organized by the Rotaract Club of KVIM on 31-Dec-2020 between 2 pm – 4 pm. All the Students, Faculty Members and Staff of KVIM participated in this innovative “Virtual Event” through Zoom.

KVIMIS Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp

Womens day represents an important opportunity for individuals, communities, and countries to celebrate the progress, great achievements, and contributions of women, towards the complete development of the family and nation in many fronts. At KVIM the womens day was celebrated to recognize and honor the college’s female staff and students for their pivotal contributions to the community

Guest Lecture on “Opportunities in the Defence Sector” was organized by KVIM to inspire students to take up jobs in defense forces and serve the nation. The emphasis of the lecture was on the responsibility of students towards the defence forces and the qualifications and qualities required to join the armed services as an officer. There were questions from students regarding the openings and life in army, and their doubts were cleared which motivated them to take up a successful defense career.

To address challenges and opportunities in the field of research, a one day workshop on SPSS is conducted for those who want to acquire the skills and knowledge on getting started with SPSS. The workshop enabled the researchers to implement a wide variety of statistical and graphical techniques, including linear and nonlinear modeling, classical statistical tests, time-series analysis, classification and clustering.

KVIM organized a lecture on stress management in which the students were exposed to the coping strategies to combat stress. As a part of dealing with stress the three Fs - Faith, Family and Friends, which can become our support system in any crisis-ridden scenario was emphasized among the students. It was quite an interactive session with the students and teachers with a greater focus on a happier and stress-free life by being cheerful and loving ourselves unconditionally.

The Rotaract Club of KVIM organized an Eye Screening Camp for the students. A clinical team of 3 doctors visited the college and examined the students and faculty for eye problems. Counselling was offered to them regarding cataract surgery, eye glasses and medicines. The camp gave an energetic and responsible feel to the students of KVIM.

n order to build an exposure to different cultures and international trends, the students of KVIM were given the opportunity to interact with the professors of Cambridge university. Students had a great time in interacting with the faculty regarding the various aspects of management and the latest trends in the field

Onam celebration organised in the college premises was well celebrated by the students and staff members who played and enjoyed various outdoor games. The floral arrangements looked more beautiful as the students decorated it with vividly bright coloured flowers. Students from different communities celebrated this festival with togetherness.
